About Traffic Police
Traffic police, also known as traffic officers, traffic enforcement units, traffic cops, traffic monitors, or traffic enforcers, are police officers or units responsible for the enforcement of traffic laws. The Traffic unit of Kozhikode City is divided into two sub-divisions. Accordingly, the work in the local jurisdiction of City Traffic is divided as follows:
Sub-Divisions
- Kozhikode North Traffic Sub-Division (Kozhikode City, Koyilandy, Vadakara, Balussery, Feroke, and Kunnamangalam)
- Kozhikode South Traffic Sub-Division (Kozhikode Rural, Beypore, Elathur, Koduvally, Perambra, and Ramanattukara)
Traffic Enforcement
